Beautifully simple and stylish. The jenny wren farthing is loved the world over, coupled here with a sterling silver bangle for an on-trend mixed metal effect. With a hammered or plain finish, this item is ideal for every day wear as well as special occasions.
Elegant solid sterling silver infinity bangles, featuring the much loved British jenny wren farthing coin with a 9ct gold filled jump ring. A unique piece for a birthday, anniversary or thoughtful treat.
You will receive one sterling silver bangle with one jenny wren farthing coin, minted between 1937 and 1950 (date chosen by Prenoa). Additional plain bangles can be ordered here for a gorgeous stacked effect.
Each coin bangle is handmade using a real British farthing coin minted by the Royal Mint in bronze. The coin has been cleaned and polished by hand to a lovely shine. It has been drilled with a 9ct gold jump ring attached. The mixture of metals compliment one another so well and creates interest on the wrist worn alone or stacked!
This bangle is made with solid sterling silver round wire of 2mm thickness. It can be presented in three finishes -plain polished, (matt finish), hammered and hammered brushed (matt finish).
Each bangle is Hallmarked by the Birmingham Assay Office with their mark and the Prenoa sponsor mark.
The bangles are available in three sizes – small, medium and large.
Sizing for the bangles are as follows: (Diameter is the widest measurement across the bangle including the metal) (Circumference is the outside circle measurement)
Small – Diameter – 60mm (6cm) 190mm / Circumference (19cm)
Medium – Diameter – 64mm (6.4cm) / Circumference 200mm (20cm)
Large – Diameter – 70mm (7cm) / Circumference – 210mm (20cm)
A jewellery polishing cloth will also be included with this item as a complimentary gift. Keep your coin and bangle shiny by polishing them regularly and your purchase will last a lifetime, or even more!
Choosing your size:
These bangles are made to order, and as such, are classed as a custom order, making them non-returnable. Please check sizing before purchasing. This can be done by measuring the diameter (in mm or cm) of an existing bangle or measuring the circumference of a clenched fist, around the widest part with a tape measure; that is, around the whole hand where the knuckles line up.
The bangle must pass over the hand in order to fit, so it is not the size of the wrist that matters here, it is the hand.
If you are unsure, please message me prior to purchase. Alternatively, other bracelet styles are available here in the shop with sterling silver snake chains.
Making time on the current collection is up to two weeks.
“I truly love my new bangles and couldn’t be happier! The coin is the perfect size and I’m so happy I went for an antique coin. I keep wondering where it has travelled before it came to me! The hammer effect of the bangle really shines in the light and they make a lovely sound when I wear all three together.”
