Solid Silver Coin Necklace – ‘Little 3’ Prenoa

This solid silver coin necklace is a beautiful example of an antique heirloom quality Prenoa necklace. 

Made using a real Victorian or Edwardian three pence, dated pre 1920, this necklace is named ‘Little 3’ to depict its small size and the number three that forms the feature of the tails side. 

We will lovingly select a year dated pre 1920 from our collection. The Prenoa collection is always changing as we source new coins. Your coin will be a GF (good-fine) example of this antique British coin, with details and the date visible. Some signs of wear may be present, adding to the character of your coin and further proving that this is a coin with heritage and history that has travelled a journey from pockets and purses all around the UK. 

Choose a 16 inch or 18 inch sterling silver chain.

Imperial coins went out of circulation officially in 1967, but many were melted down due to the rising price of silver compared to the value of three pence. In present times, they are becoming increasingly rare and therefore we feel, they make a wonderful unique gift for a family heirloom or for passing on to the next generation as stocks dwindle. 

This is an adaptable necklace and can be worn every day as the coin and chain are all sterling silver. Paired with a soldered ring bail and attached to a fine silver chain, this is a wearable piece that stays current.
